Big Potential Breakthrough, the Big Lottery Fund investment readiness fund, has been extended, but only until the end of 2017.
The £10m fund, which offers grants to charities and social enterprises to help them work out how social investment can work for them, had been due to close at the end of April 2017.
The fund is aimed at charities and social enterprises which are thinking about taking on social investment for the first time and have the ambition to raise up to £500,000 of repayable investment.
Pulse Regeneration, based in Liverpool, is an Approved Provider for the fund, and has had considerable success in supporting organisations to make winning applications. Pulse Regeneration works closely with SEN and specialist provider Symbiont Consulting. They can help you to apply for grant, and if successful they can provide investment readiness support through this working in partnership with your organisation.
You can apply for grants of up to £30,000 for Preliminary (early stage) projects, or up to £50,000 for Investment Plan (more advanced) projects, and they can help you decide which is right for you. Grants can then be used to help to provide support in areas such as business planning, governance, leadership, market development, finances, and measuring social impact.
