Sahir House has been offering HIV support, information and training across Merseyside since 1985. It offers a wide range of services to people living with or affected by HIV; HIV related training; up to date HIV information and opportunities to volunteer.

Health Volunteer Project Worker
Part time (14.8 hours/2 days) £19,817 – £21,067 pro rata
£7,927 – £8,427 actual for 2 days a week with additional pay award to be made October 2016
They are seeking to recruit a Health Volunteer Project Worker to develop volunteer support for service users at Sahir House. The post holder will be required:
- To coordinate a team of Health Buddy Volunteers that meets the needs of service users
- To develop and champion volunteering to enhance the support available to service users
Post is for 12 months with significant possibility of extension.
The post is subject to probationary period, satisfactory references and DBS check.
