Job Vacancy – Children & Young People’s Mental Health Promotion Worker

Merseyside Youth Association Limited is seeking to recruit:

2 x Children & Young People’s Mental Health Promotion Workers

Salary: £23,213 – £24,243 – JNC Pt. 13-14

Hours: 35 per week –
(Will Consider Part Time/Job Share)
(Will Include Some Evenings and Weekends)

Fixed Term Funded to 31st March 2017

The postholder is responsible for Merseyside and Cheshire’s Champs Project (Public Health) and contributing to Liverpool Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Promotion and Training Strategy. The main aim of this is to make mental health everybody’s business. This post will work across Merseyside and Cheshire.

They are looking for a dynamic individual who can work with children, young people, parents and carers to develop a variety of initiatives which can promote mental health. The successful candidate must also be able to deliver training to the Children and Young People’s Workforce.

The successful candidate must hold a relevant qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 or above in a related subject.
