TGL (Teaching, Giving, Learning) are developing software which allows organisations to convert the hours of social action carried out by members to be converted into a digital currency.
This currency can only be traded on line and will be accepted by social enterprises instead of a discount. When a social enterprise accepts the currency ‘L’, they must trade it with another enterprise to give it any value.
‘L’ is never cashed out or converted into sterling. It simply circulates within a trusted circle of earners and traders, regulated by the organisations who are granted a software license.
It is, in effect, a digital time bank.
